French Toast

A classic for breakfast.  My dad has been requesting me to cook this over and over again ever since I started making it on Sundays.  As long as we got loaf bread available, I whip this up in a heartbeat.

French Toast

 

Ingredients:

3 eggs

1 cup warm milk

2 tsp cinnamon

10 slices of bread, sliced diagonally

butter

maple syrup

 

Directions:

Beat eggs lightly in a shallow bowl, stir in milk and cinnamon.  Heat griddle or skillet coated with a thin layer of butter.  Place the bread slices in the bowl, letting it soak the egg mixture.  Coat both sides.  Transfer it in the pan until the bottom is golden brown.  Turn and brown the other side.  Serve with butter & maple syrup.
